- 5.2. Edit Menu

- 5.2.1. Edit > Undo [Z]

- Choosing this item cancels the last editing or recording operation.

- Choosing this item copies selected events to the clipboard and then removes
- them from the window.

- 5.2.3. Edit > Copy [C]

- Choosing this item copies selected events to the clipboard.

- 5.2.4. Edit > Paste [V]

- Choosing this item inserts events in the clipboard into the selected time.
- Events which had been in the inserted time range will be removed.

- 5.2.5. Edit > Merge [M]

- Choosing this item inserts events in the clipboard into the selected time.
- Events which had been in the inserted time range will still remain.

- 5.2.6. Edit > Clear [B]

- Choosing this item removes selected events.

- Choosing this item creates a new event. New event will be a copy of the
- active event, or a note event on selected time if no event is activated.
- This menu item is available only in the event list mode.

- Choosing this item inserts events in the clipboard into the selected time.
- Events which had been after the start of insertion point will be shifted to
- later for the inserted time period.

- to later for the selected time period.

- events are already selected, choosing this item de-selects all events.

- A dialog which allows you to specify the bar number to jump will appear
- after choosing this item.

- Choosing this item displays a dialog which allows you to specify options
- related editing.

- 1. Default note length: Specify a note length basis for a newly created
- note events.
- 2. duration scaling: Specify a scaling factor for the duration of a new
- note events in percentage.
- 3. duration increment: Specify a offset for the duration in step.
-
- For example, if you specify A as the "Default note length", B as the
- "duration scaling" and C as the "duration increment", the default
- duration D for a newly created note event is equal to:
- D = (A x B) +C
-
- 4. Velocity: Specify a velocity parameter for a newly created note event.
- 5. Use last note's param: If you check this option, parameters of last
- modified note event will be used as default parameters for a newly
- created note event.
- 6. Indicate scroll position: If you check this option, the target position
- will be indicated while you are dragging the thumb of a scrollbar - The
- bar:beat numbers will be indicated in the Bar:Beat indicator at the top
- of the sequence window while you are dragging the thumb of the
- horizontal scrollbar, and the scale at the note number axis will be
- scrolled according to thumb dragging on the vertical scrollbar at the
- right end of a piano-roll block.
